August Wilson Theatre

The August Wilson Theater (formerly the Virginia Theater) was renamed on October 16th, 2005, fourteen days after the death of the American playwright. Since it originally opened in 1925 (as the Guild Theater), it has been home to such shows as Little Shop of Horrors (2003), Smokey Joe's Cafe (1995), and Our Town (1969).
